With national attention focused on conference realignment and the launch of the Longhorn Network, the 2011 Big 12 Football Media Days introduced enhanced visual and broadcast elements to elevate the event experience.
DALLAS, Texas — July 26, 2011 — Corporate Magic partnered with the Big 12 Conference to elevate the production experience for the 2011 Big 12 Football Media Days, bringing enhanced visual storytelling and broadcast-quality presentation elements to one of college football’s most closely watched media events.
Held at the Westin Galleria Dallas, the two-day event brought together Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe, conference head coaches, student-athletes, national media representatives, and broadcast partners for the conference’s annual football media gathering.
With national attention focused on the Big 12’s first media days following conference realignment and the launch of the Longhorn Network, Corporate Magic was engaged to help create a more dynamic environment for attendees, media outlets, and television audiences.
Drawing on decades of experience supporting major sports and entertainment productions, Corporate Magic worked closely with the conference to enhance the overall presentation. The company has contributed to numerous high-profile broadcast events throughout its history, including productions for the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime Show and Super Bowl XLV through its work with the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee.
To support the visual experience, Corporate Magic collaborated with GoVision to integrate a large-format high-resolution LED video display into the event environment. Positioned behind the speakers on stage, the display showcased team branding, motion graphics, and video content throughout the event, creating a more engaging backdrop for press conferences, interviews, and broadcast coverage.
“Our goal was to help create a presentation environment that reflected the significance of the event and the visibility it receives across the college football landscape,” said Brian Greenway, Director of Alliances and Business Development for Corporate Magic. “The visual technology and expertise provided by GoVision helped us deliver an experience that elevated both the in-room atmosphere and the broadcast presentation.”
Throughout the event, custom graphics and highlight content were displayed as coaches and student-athletes took the stage, while animated school branding provided a dynamic visual backdrop during question-and-answer sessions with members of the media.
The 2011 Big 12 Football Media Days featured participation from Baylor University, Iowa State University, the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, the University of Texas, Texas A&M University, and Texas Tech University.
